the parallel sides of trapizium are 50cm and 80 cm .the non parallel sides are 26cm and 28cm . find area of trapizium

through B,draw BF II AD
also draw the BE perpendicular to DC
now
FC=DC - DF =80 - 50= 30cm
in triangle FBC,
FB=CB= 28cm
also b e perpendicular to FC Soi is the midpoint of FC
FE=1/2FC=1/2×30=15cm
in a right right angle triangle BEF,
BF square = FE square + BE square
676=225+ CE Square
676-225= CE Square
451=CE square
CE=21.2cm
area =1/2(80+50)21.2
area = 1378
