I didn't tell my parents because I knew they would be furious. That's why I ended up not informing them about the parent teacher meeting on Saturday. Definitely, my teacher would tell on me. I thought of missing this meeting. But, to my dismay, a letter arrived and my parents read it. I had no way out, so I ended up coming with a story of how one of my classmates got in a fight with a few boys and got bruised. I lied to my parents that I had to take my friend to the hospital for stitches which is why I missed my quiz. Thankfully, I got out of it.
