Dendrites in a neuron receives messages from other neurons.

Basically, a neuron has three parts :-

• Dendrites.

• Axon.

• Cell body.

These parts help them in sending and recieving a kind of chemical signals.

Function of Each Part :-

☕ Cell body :-

Also known as Soma, This is responsible for life of a neuron.

☕ Dendrites :-

These are the branching extensions of a neuron. This are responsible for recieving messages.

☕ Axon :-

This is the long extension of neuron. It carries away impulse from the cell body.
