percentage error in mass =2%=2/100

percentage error in speed = 3%= 3/100

K. E. = 1/2*m*v^2

therefore,

the error in measurement of K. E

ΔK.E = Δm + 2*Δv

K.E m v

= 2/100 +6/100

= 8/100

= 8%
