The percentage reduction in the area of a circle when it's radius is decreased by 10%

hey friend

area of circle= πr²

if radius decrease 10%

area of circle= π(0.9r)²

different of area = πr²-0.81πr²

= 0.19πr²

percentage of reduction area=( 0.19πr²/πr²)×100


= 0.19×100

= 19%
