the perimeter of a circle is 18cm . find it's radius


Sonugiri: c = 18
Sonugiri: 18 = 2×22/7×r
Sonugiri: (18×7)÷44=r

perimeter of circle=18
2πr=18
r=18×7/22×2
r=9×7/22
r=63/22
r=2.87cm
r=2.9cm(approximately).

As we know that ,

Perimeter of circle =2πr..

so,2πr=18. ..(given)

2*22/7*r=18

=>r=18*7/44

=>63/22

=>2.8636363636..

Approachly ....2.87cm...radius..or 2.9 also
