Perimeter = 2(l+b)
42=2(12+b)
42/2=12+b
21=12+b
21-12=b
b=9m
Area =l*b
=12*9
=108m^2

Answer:

Although the shape of the classroom is quite unclear for me. But, as general i kept it rectangular shape. So, Breadth = 9m & Area = 108m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the shape of the classroom is rectangular.

Let Breadth = X

Perimeter = 2 (Length + Breadth)

According to question:-

42 = 2 (12+X)

21 = 12+X

X = 9m (Breadth)

Area = Length x Breadth

A = 12 x 9

A = 108m²
