let one side of paralleogram=b=x cm

then other side =l=x+10 cm

perimeter of paralleogram =2 (l+b)

140=2 (x+10+x)

70=2x+10

2x=70-10

2x=60

x=30

so,one side of paralleogram =30cm.

and the opposite side is also 30 cm.

and,other side=x+10=30+10=40 cm.

then the opposite side is also 40 cm.
