Given
Perimeter = 140 cm
Length (l)= x+ 10 cm
Breadth (b)= x cm
Solution,
Perimeter = 2(l+b)
140= 2 * (x+10+x)
140= 2 * (2x+10)
140= 4x + 20
140 - 20 = 4x
120 = 4x
x = 120/4
x= 30
Length = x+ 10 cm
= 30+10 cm
= 40 cm
Breadth = x
= 30 cm
Hope it will help you.

The perimeter of a parallelogram is 140 cm. If one of the sides is longer than the other by 10 cm. Find the length of each of its sides.
➣ Perimeter of a parallelogram = 140 cm
➣ One of the side is longer than the other by 10 cm
➣ The length of each side of the parallelogram
➪ Let, the smaller side = x cm
➪ Let, the longer side = x + 10 cm
➪ Perimeter of Parallelogram = 2(length + Breadth)
⟼ 140 = 2(x + x + 10)
⟼ 140 = 2( 2x + 10)
⟼ = 2x + 10
⟼ 70 = 2x + 10
⟼ 70 - 10 = 2x
⟼ 60 = 2x
⟼ = x
⟼ 30 cm = x
➙ The Measure of the Smaller side = x = 30 cm
➙The Measure of the Longer side = x + 10 = 30 + 10 = 40 cm
➦So, the smaller side measures 30 cm and the longer side measures 40 cm
