The perimeter of a parallelogram is 150 cm. One of its side is greater than the other by 25 cm. Find length of all sides of the parallelogram

let one side be x

so the opposite side of x is also x(opposite sides of a ||gm are equal)

let the side other than x be x+25

so the opposite side of x+25 is also x+25

perimeter of a ||gm= sum of all sides=150 cm(given)

sides are x, x+25, x, x+25

so

x+x+25+x+x+25=150

4x+50=150

4x=150-50

4x=100

x=100/4=25

so the measure of two sides is equal to 25 each

the measure of other two sides is (25+25) =50 each.
