GIVEN :

Perimeter of Parallelogram= 150cm

One of the sides is greater than other by 33cm.

Let the sides be x and x + 33

We know that,

Perimeter of Parallelogram = 2 [ sum of opposite two sides ]

150 = 2 [ x + x + 33 ]

150/2 = 2x + 33

75 = 2x + 33

75 - 33 = 2x

2x = 42

x = 42/2

x = 21

Smaller side of parallelogram = x = 21cm

Greater Side of parallelogram = x + 33 = 21 + 33 = 54cm

Therefore, sides of parallelogram are 21cm, 21cm, 54cm and 54cm.

Answer:

Sides of parallelogram are 21cm, 21cm, 54cm and 54cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Problem:

The perimeter of a parallelogram is 150cm . one of its sides is greeter than the other by 33cm . find the length of the sides of the parallelogram.

Solution:

To Find:

Length of parallelogram

------------------

Method:

Given that,

⇒Perimeter of Parallelogram = 150cm

⇒One of the sides is greater than other by 33cm.

⇒Let the sides be xy and xy + 33

Formula:

Perimeter of Parallelogram = Two sum of opposite two sides

According to formula:

Values will be,

⇒150 = 2 ( xy + xy + 33 )      (↑Using formula↑)

\frac{150}{2} = 2xy + 33

⇒75 = 2xy + 33

⇒75 - 33 = 2xy

⇒2xy = 42

⇒xy = \frac{42}{2}

⇒xy = 21

Now,

Smaller side of parallelogram = xy = 21cm

Greater Side of parallelogram = xy + 33 = 21 + 33 = 54cm

Hence,

Sides of parallelogram are 21cm, 21cm, 54cm and 54cm.

★Extra Information★

⇒Area of parallelogram =  b × h (base × height)

⇒Parallelogram's opposite angels are congruent (D = B)

⇒Parallelogram has two pairs of parallel opposite sides.

⇒Parallelogram has two pairs of equal opposite angles.

⇒Parallelogram has two pairs of equal and parallel opposite sides.

⇒Parallelogram's diagonals bisect each other.
