The perimeter of a parallelogram is 200 cm. One of its side is greater than the other by 50 cm. Find length of all sides of the parallelogram

let one side be x cm

perimeter of parallelogram=300cm

one side=(x+50)cm. (since according to question)

another side=x cm

As opposite side of parallelogram are equal

therefore,

perimeter of parallelogram=sum of all sides

300cm=x+(x+50)+x+(x+50)cm

300 cm=x+x+50+x+x+50 cm

300cm=4x+100

4x=(300-100)cm

4x=200cm

x=200/4

x=50cm

Now put the value of x

1st side =x=50cm

2nd side=x+50=100cm

3rd side=x=50cm

4th side=x+50=100cm
