Perimeter = 2(w + h)

Here, w = base of parallelogram

Let the base of parallelogram is 2x

And, the height of parallelogram is 3x

{\bold{\underline{\underline{According\:to \: the \: Question:-}}}}

⟹perimeter = 2(w + h) \\  \\⟹ 85= 2(2x + 3x) \\  \\ ⟹85 = 4x + 6x \\  \\⟹ 85 = 10x \\  \\⟹  \frac{85}{10}  = x \\  \\⟹ 8.5 = x

\boxed{x = 8.5}

{\bold{\underline{\underline{Putting\: value\: of \: x \: :-}}}}

⁕Base of parallelogram = 2x = 2(8.5) = 17cm

⁕Height of parallelogram = 3x = 3(8.5)= 25.5cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • Perimeter of a Parallelogram is 85 cm.
  • Ratio of its two sides is 2 : 3

To Find:

  • What is the measure of length of sides of parallogram?

Solution: Let x be the common in given ratio.

  • Base = 2x
  • Height = 3x

Perimeter of Parallogram = 2 (Base + Height )

A/q

 =  > 85 = 2(2x + 3x) \\  \\  =  > 85 = 2(5x) \\  \\  =  > 85 = 10x \\  \\  =  >  \frac{85}{10}  = x \\  \\  =  > 8.5 = x

Hence, The measure of base = 2x = 2(8.5) cm = 17 cm and

Measure of Height = 3x = 3(8.5) cm = 25.5 cm
