let the length of smaller side br x m
Hence, the length of smaller side be x+10 m

Perimeter of a parallelogram= 2(l+b)
=2(x+x+10).
=2(2x+10)
=4x+20

But we know that perimeter of a parallelogram is 80m.
Therefore,
80=4x+20
80-20=4x
60=4x
x=60/4
x=15
Therefore length of larger side =x+10
=15+10=25
Therefore the length of larger side is 25m.
