Answer:

breadth=x

length=x+5

perimeter=2*(x+x+5)

50/2=2x+5

25=2x+5

2x=25-5

2x=20

x=20/2

x=10

Given :-

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 50cm
  • Breadth of Rectangle = 10cm

 \\

To Find :-

  • Length of the Rectangle

 \\

Solution :-

According to the Question :

➞ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( L + B )

➞ 50 = 2 ( Length + 10 )

➞ 50 / 2 = Length + 10

➞ 25 = Length + 10

➞ 25 - 10 = Length

15cm = Length

________________

Verification :

⟾ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( L + B )

⟾ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 ( 15 + 10 )

⟾ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × 25

50 = 50

Hence Verified

Thus, Length of the Rectangle is 15cm
