Now coming back to your question..

Given Perimeter of the rectangular field =240 m.

Let the length and breadth be 5x and 3x respectively

And we know that perimeter of rectangle

=2 (l+b) unit.

so...........

240=2(5x+3x)

240=2(8x)

240=16x

240/16 =x

x= 15

So the length =5x =5×15 =75

and breadth t= 3x =3×15 =45.

Area of the rectangle = (l×b)sq. unit

so Area of rectangular field = (75×45)m^2

=3375 m^2.
