Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l + b)

Therefore,
length = 2x
breadth = x
Perimeter = 2(2x + x)

660 = 4x + 2x
660 = 6x
x = 660/6
x = 110

Therefore
breadth = 110m
length = 110 × 2 = 220m

Answer:

220m, 110m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of given rectangle be Y

∴ Length of given rectangle be 2Y   [ Double of Breadth ]

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

                                      = 2 ( 2Y + Y )

                                      = 6Y

But perimeter given 660 m

                            ∴ 6Y = 660

                                 Y = 660/6

                                 Y = 110

∴      Breadth of the rectangular field is 110 m

and Length (2Y) = 220m
