Let the length be x and breadth be y
2(x +y)= 100
x +y=50 ....1

(x-2) (y+3)= xy +44
xy + 3x -2y- 6 =xy + 44
3x -2y=44+6( hence xy get cancelled)
3x-2y =50 .....2

Applying elimination in 1 & 2

x + y =50
3x - 2y=50

Multiply equ. 1 by 2

2x + 2y= 100
3x -2y =50

(+2y & -2y get cancelled)
Now,
5x=150
x=30

Put x=30 in 1
30 +y = 50
y =20
