the perimeter of a rectangle is 110 M find the dimensions if the length is 5 M lesser than twice its breadth

length ( l ) = 2w (width) - 5

perimeter = 110

perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

110 = 2 [ ( 2w - 5 ) + w ]

55 = 3w - 5

55 + 5 = 3w

60 = 3w

60/3 = w

w = 20

value of width = 20 m

and

length = 2 × 20 - 5 = 35
