GIVEN :

• perimeter of the rectangle = 128cm

• Length = 47 cm

To find :

Width or breadth .

Solution :

• As we know that,

perimeter of the rectangle = 2 ( L + B )

=> 128 = 2(47+B)

=> 128 = 94 + 2B

=> 2B = 34

=> B = 34/2 = 17 .

Hence, the width is 17 cm
