Given : When $35$ is added to $9$ times a number, the sum is $10$ more than $250$.

Solution :

• Let the missing number be $x$.

• According to given condition we represent it as -

         $35 + 9x = 10 + 250$

• Leaving variable term at LHS and taking constants at RHS , we get ,$9x = 260 -35$  

         $x = \frac{225}{9}$

         $x =25$

Hence , original number is $25$.
