Answer:

perimeter = 130 cm

L + B = 130 cm

L + 30 cm = 130 cm

L = 130 cm - 30 cm

L = 100 cm

area = L * B

= 100 cm * 30 cm

= 3000 CM square

Given:

Perimeter of the rectangle = 130 cm

Breadth of the rectangle = 30

Formula:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (Length + Breadth)

130 = 2 (length + 30)

130/2 = length + 30

Length + 30 = 65

Length = 65 – 30

Length = 35 cm

Then:

Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 35 × 30

= 1050 cm²

Therefore:

Area of the rectangle = 1050 cm² Ans
