Answer:

let l be x

formula of perimeter =2×(l+b)

130=2×(x+30)

130=2x+60

130-60=2x

70=2x

l=35cm

area =l×b

=35×30

=1050cm^2

GivEn :

  • Breadth of Rectangle = 30 cm
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 130 cm

To find :

  • Length and area of Rectangle?

Solution :

☯ Let Length of rectangle be x cm.

According to the Question:

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 130 cm

We know that,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

Therefore,

➯ 2(x + 30) = 130

➯ x + 30 = 130/2

➯ x + 30 = 65

➯ x = 65 - 30

➯ x = 35

∴ Thus, Length of rectangle is 35 cm.

Now, Finding area of Rectangle,

As we know that,

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

➯ Area = 35 × 30

➯ Area = 1050 cm².

∴ Hence, Area of rectangle is 1050 cm².
