let breadth be x metres..so length=10+5x metres..so according to the question =>2(l+b)=perimeter of the rectangle.. so..2(10+5x+x)=140=>10+6x=140/2=70=>6x=70-10=60=>x=60/6=10..so length=10+5*10=10+50=60 metres

Perimeter is the sum of all the sides. given that length = 10+5*b. breadth=b. So sum of all the two lengths and two breadths result in an equation 20+12b= 140 b=10 Length=60 Perimeter = 60*2 +10*2
