Roughage is a very important part of our diet. It includes fibres which help in digestion. They provide base for digestion. They usually lack in any nutrient. Hope this is useful.

roughages can be consider on of the most important part of our diet. the roughages are rich in the fiber part that is really good for the digestion of the food . the roughages are mostly suggested for every one so that the fiber part of the diet can be covered by these foods. the corn is the best example of roughages.
