Step-by-step explanation:

let the breadth of the rectangle will be x

length=x+3

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

2(x+x+3)=154

4x+6=154

4x=154-6

4x=148

x=148/4

x=37

breadth of rectangle=37cm

length of the rectangle=x+3

37+3=40

Area of the rectangle=length x breadth

37 x 40 = 1480cm
