Answer:

l=0.825km (or) 825m, b=0.495km (or) 495m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, ratio of length and breadth of rectangle is 5:3

Length =5x

Breadth =3x

Also given, Perimeter of rectangle = 2.64 km

But, Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

=> 2(l+b) = 2.64

=> l+b= 2.64/2

=> 5x + 3x = 1.32

=> 8x = 1.32

=> x =1.32/8

=> x = 0.165

Length of rectangle = 5x = 5(0.165)=0.825km

= 0.825* 1000 m

= 825m

Breadth of the rectangle =3x= 3(0.165)

=0.495km

= 0.495*1000

=495m
