Answer:

given \: that \\ length \: of \: rectangle = 70cm \\  \\ to \: find \:  \\ braedth \: of \: reactangle \: and \: area \\  \\ perimeter \: of \: rectangle = 2(lenght + breadth) \\ 230 = 2(70 + breadth) \\  \frac{230}{2}  = 70 + breadth \\ 115 - 70 = breadth \\ 45 cm = breadth \\  \\ area \: of \: rectangle = length \times breadth  \\ area = 70cm \times 45cm \\ area = 3150cm {}^{2}

Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle = 230 cm

Length = 70 cm

Let the breadth of rectangle be b.

Perimeter = 2 (l+b)

2 (70+b) = 230

140 + 2b = 230

2b = 230 - 140

2b = 90

b = 45

Hence, breadth = 45 cm

Area of rectangle = l×b = (70×45) cm² = 3150 cm²
