Solution:
we know the perimeter of a rectangle, p = 2( l+b )
30 = 2( l+b )
l+b = 15
l = 15 - b
l = 15 - 6
l = 9 cm
Area of the rectangle, a = l*b
a = 9 * 6
= 54 cm²
Hence, The length and area of the rectangle are 9 cm and 54 cm² respectively.
