Perimeter=2×(l+b)

2×(98+b)=326

98+b=326/2

b=163-98

Question

The perimeter of a rectangle is 326cm and its length is 98cm find its breadth and area

Give

Perimeter of rectangle = 326cm

Length = 98cm

To Find

  • Breadth and area of rectangle

Solution

Perimeter of rectangle = 2× ( Length + Breadth)

326 = 2 ×(98 + Breadth)

  \large \cancel\frac{326}{2} =98+Breadth

163 = 98 + Breadth

163 - 98 = Breadth

65 = Breadth

Area of rectangle = Length × breadth

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 98 × 65

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= 6,370 cm²
