The perimeter of a rectangle is 40 cm . Can its area be 120 sqcm justify your answer

Answer:

perimeter=40

2(l+b)=40

l+b=20..............(i)

area=120

l*b=120-----------(ii)

solving (i) and (ii)

you will get imaginary value of length

so area cannot be 120
