Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

Here,

Let breadth =x and then

Length =5x-4

40=2(x+5x-4)

20=6x-4

20+4=6x

24/6 =x

4=x

Then

Breadth =4m

And length =5*4-4=20-4=16m

Area of rectangle =length * breadth

Here,

Area =16*4

Area =64m²

Let, breadth be x so length is 5x - 4
Therefore,

2x + 2 (5x - 4) =40
X + (5x - 4) = 20
6x = 24
X = 4
So breadth is 4 and length is 16
Now, area is,
L * B = Area
Area = 4 * 16 = 64 m² (Ans) .....
Hope it helped you a lot and brainliest it.....
