the perimeter of a rectangle is 40cm. find the area of the square having the same perimeter

perimeter of square = 4× side
40=4×side
side =10
area=side × side
= 10×10
=100 Sq metre

here's ur answer...

given perimeter of rectangle=perimeter of square

therefore perimeter of square is 40cm

side×4=40cm

side=40/4

side=10cm

area of the square=side²

=10×10

=100cm²
