PERIMETER=40m
 The length = 5(breadth)-4
PERIMETER=2(l+b)
           40 =2(5b-4+b)(Substituting value of length)
            40/2 = 6b-4
              20=6b-4
              20+4 = 6b
               24=6b
                b=4cm
 Length=5b-4=5(4)-4=20-4=16
AREA OF THE RECTANGLE= length*breadth
                                                =16*4
                                                 =64cm^2 (sqr is only for unit).

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Perimeter=40m

Length=(5b-4)

Perimeter=2(l+b)

40=2(5b-4+b)

40=2(6b-4)

20=6b-4

20+4=6b

24=6b

4=b;sub the b=4 in length

length=5(4)-4

     =20-4=16m square
