<b>Given that

Perimeter of rectangle = 44 cm

Length of 1 adjacent side is 1.8 cm more than other

Then

Let the smaller side be X cm

then other side = (X + 1.8)cm

now as perimeter of rectangle

= 2(l+b)

then from above

44 = 2[(X + 1.8 ) + X ]

44 = 2[2X + 1.8]

44 = 4X + 3.6

then

4X = 40.4

or X = 10.1 cm

then length of side

= X & (X + 1.8 )

= 10.1 & 11.9
