Answer:

perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)=48m

length =2x

breadth =x

perimeter of rectangle =2(2x+x)=48

2×3x=48

6x=48

x=48/6

x=8

breadth =x=8m

length =2x=2×8=16m

area of rectangle =l×b=16×8=128m²
