Perimeter = 2( L + B )

L = 2x

B = x

Therefore 6x is the perimeter, 6x = 48, x = 8

And so. Length = 8(2) = 16

The choice (i) is correct.

let length=2x
breadth=x
Perimeter=48 units
2(l+b) = 48 units
2(2x+x)= 48
4x+2x=48
x=48/6=8
length = 2x
length=2*8= 16
