the perimeter of a rectangle is 49 meters. The length of it is 4 meters less than 5 times it's breadth. Find the length.​

But l = 5b-4 (given)

∴ 49 = 2(5b-4 + b) = 2(6b-4)

6b-4 = 49/2 = 24.5

l = 5b-4 = 5(4.75)-4

= 19.75 m

P=2(l+b) = 2(19.75+4.75) = 2(24.5) = 49
