The perimeter of a rectangle is 52 cm. How long is each size if the width is 2 cm more than one-third of the length?​

Answer:

perimeter is 52 and 2(l+b)

let l=x

b=x/3 +2

2(x+x/3+2)

2(3x+x+6/3)

8x+12/3=52

8x+12=52×3

8x=156-12

8x=144

x=18

length is 18

breadth is 10
