Perimeter of rectangle = 60

2(l+b) =60

l+b = 30 ...1

let l be the longer side and b be shorter side.

and so l= 6+b ...2

Put 2 in 1

l+b=30

6+b+b = 30 ( l=6+b)

2b =30-6

b=24÷2

b=12cm

l= 12+6 = 18 cm
