Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

7= 2(l+1.5) [ 150cm = 1.5m ]

7/2 - 1.5 = l

7-3/2 = l

4/2 = l

Therefore.,

2 m = length

Given :

Perimeter of rectangle = 7m = 7 × 100 = 700 cm

Breadth = b = 150 cm

To find :

Length = l = ?

Formula should be used :

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

Proof :

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

700 = 2(l + 150)

700 = 2l + 300

700 - 300 = 2l

2l = 400

l =\ \frac {400}{2}

l = 200 cm
