Answer:

Breadth of the given rectangle is 14.5 m & length is 30 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let it's perimeter be p, breadth be b & length be l in meters.

Given: p = 89 ....(i)

l = 1 + 2b ....(ii)

We know: p = 2(l+b) ....(iii)

Putting (i) & (ii) in (iii),

》89 = 2(1 + 2b + b)

》44.5 = 1 + 3b

》44.5 - 1 = 3b

》3b = 43.5

》b = 14.5 .....(iv)

Putting (iv) in (ii),

》l = 1 + 2(14.5)

》l = 1 + 29

》l = 30 ......(v)

Using (iv) & (v),

b = 14.5 m.

l = 30 m.

So breadth of the given rectangle is 14.5 m & length is 30 m.
