Answer:

Hey mate! This is your answer.

Length=40m

Step-by-step explanation:

The Perimeter of the rectangle= Perimeter of the square

Side of a square=16m

The Perimeter of a square= 4s

Perimeter = 4 × 16

                 =  64m

Width of the rectangle= 12m

Perimeter= 2(l+w)

     64m   = 2( l+ 12)

     64m   = 2l + 24

     64-24 = 40m

∴ The length of the rectangle is 40m.

Answer:

Note : I am writing p in perimeter, l in length, w as width...

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square

P of square = 16 * 2

                   = 32m

2*(l + 12 ) = 32

2L + 24 = 32

2L = 32 - 24

2L = 8

L = 8/2

= 4m is length
