Answer:

A.T.C.

Perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

area of sq.=100cm^2

a^2=100

a=10

perimeter will 4×a=4×10=40 cm

40 =2 (l+b)

40=2 (14+b)

20=14+b

b=6 cm

Area of rectangle =l ×b

= 14 ×6

= 84 cm ^2

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square

2(l+b) = 4s equation 1

area of square = s×s

=100

s= 10

equation 1 2( l+b)= 4×10 =40

2(14+b)= 40

14+b=20

b= 20-14

b= 6

area of rectangle= lb. = 14×6 =84
