Area of rectangle = Length ×Breadth

Area of rectangle = 650cm²

According to the question

Length ×Breadth= 650cm²

Length ×13 cm= 650cm²

Length= 650cm²/13cm

Length=50cm

Perimeter of rectangle=2(L+B)

= 2(50cm+13cm)

=126cm

Answer: 126 cm

Concept: This is the simple question from the 'Area & Perimeter of the rectangle. To find the area of the rectangle we use the formula

Area of rectangle = length(l)×breadth(b)

and perimeter

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

Given: Area of a rectangle = 650 cm square, breadth=13 cm

To find: Perimeter of the rectangle

Solution:

First, we find the length of the rectangle by using the formula of area of

rectangle

area of rectangle= l*b

                    650= l*13

                        l=\frac{650}{13}

                        l=50 cm

Now put this value in the perimeter formula to find the perimeter of a rectangle

perimeter = 2(l+b)

                =2(50+13)

                = 2(63)

                = 126 cm

Hence the perimeter of a given rectangle is 126 cm
