GIVEN :-

  • Perimeter of the rectangle plot = 114 m
  • Area of the rectangle plot = 810 m²

SOLUTION :-

  1. Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

                   \longrightarrow \sf 2(x+b)=114\\\\\longrightarrow x+b = 57\\\\\longrightarrow\bf b = 57-x

     2.  Area = Length × Breadth

                   \longrightarrow \sf x(57-x) = 810\\\\\longrightarrow 57x-x^2 = 810\\\\\longrightarrow x^2-57x =-810\\\\\longrightarrow \bf x^2-57x+810 = 0

     3.  Equation → \sf x^2-57x+810 = 0

                      \longrightarrow \sf x^2-57x+810=0\\\\\longrightarrow x^2-30x-27x+810=0\\\\\longrightarrow x(x-30) - \ 27(x-30) = 0\\\\\longrightarrow (x-30) \ (x-27) = 0 \\\\\longrightarrow \bf x =30 \ , \ x=27

  • If length = 30m , breadth = 57 - 30 = 27m

  • If length = 27m , breadth = 57 - 27 = 30m
