a) ans :- let the length be = x

breadth = 26 cm

Perimeter = 124 cm

... in a rectangle if there is only one measure written with perimeter we will go with the rule of rectangle....

2(l+b) = 124cm

2( x+26) = 124cm

2x +52 = 124

2x= 124-52

2x = 72

x = 72/2

x= 36 .......

So length = 36cm....

b) ans :- LENGTH = 36 cm

BREADTH = 26 cm

AREA = l× B

= (36×26 ) cm^2

= 936 cm ^2

hope it helps u ^-^
