Answer:

Answer

Let the breadth of the rectangle be xcm

Then it's length =x+5cm

Perimeter =2(length+breadth)

⇒70=2(x+(x+5))

⇒

2

70

=2 x+5

⇒2 x+5=35

⇒2 x=35−5=30

⇒x=

30

=15cm

Breadth =x=15cm and length =x+5=15+5=20cm

Answer:

Let the breath of the rectangle be x

and the length of the rectangle be x + 10

Therefore;acc. to que,

Perimeter of rect. = 120cm (given)

2(l+b) = 120 cm

2 ( x + x + 10 ) = 120 cm

2 ( 2x + 10 ) = 120 cm

2x + 10 = 120 / 2 cm

2x + 10 = 60 cm

2x = 60 - 10 cm

2x = 50 cm

x = 50 / 2 cm

x = 25 cm

LENGTH of rectangle = x + 10 = 25 + 10 cm =35cm

BREATH of rectangle = x = 25 cm
