YOUR ANSWER....

Given:
Sides of a triangle are in ratio of 6:7:8
Perimeter of triangle is 420 m.

Solution:
Let the common multiple be x.
So,
6x+7x+8x=420
21x=420
x=20.

Side a=6x=6×20=120
Side b=7x=7×20=140
Side c=8x=8×20=160

According to Heron's formula,

s = \:  \frac{a + b + c}{2}
 =  \frac{120 + 140 + 160}{2}
 = 210
Area of triangle...

 = \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}
 =  \sqrt{210(210 - 120)(210 - 140)(210 - 160)}
 =  \sqrt{210 \times 90 \times 70 \times 50}
 = 2100 \sqrt{15}

hi mate.....

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter =420.

sides = 6:7:8

so = 6x, 7x, 8x

side =6x+7x+8x=420

=(6+7+8)*x=420

=21*x=420

=x = 420/21

=x =20

when three sides of rectangle in ratio are given,

=a/2+b/2+c/2=side of a rectangle

a=6x=6*20=120

b=7x=7*20=140

c=8x=8*20=160

=120/2+140/2+160/2

=210.
