Perimeter of rectangle = 70

Let breadth be x

then length be 15+x

according to question

2(l+b) = 70

2(15+x+x) = 70

2(15+2x) = 70

30+4x = 70

4x = 70 - 30

x = 40/4 = 10m

So ,

breadth = 10m

length = 15+x = 15+10 = 25

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ SOLUTION █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂

☆GIVEN☆

  • The perimeter of rectangle=70m

☆LET

  • The breadth of rectangle be X
  • The length of rectangle be X+15

☆According to the above information☆

☆Perimeter of rectangle=2(L+B)☆

⇒70 = 2(x + 15 + x) \\  \\ ⇒70 = 2(2x + 15) \\  \\ ⇒35 = 2x + 15 \\  \\ ⇒2x = 35 - 15 \\  \\ ⇒2x = 20 \\  \\ ⇒x = 10

✮HENCE:-

  • THE BREADTH=10m
  • THE LENGTH=25m

✮FOR VERIFICATION✮

➞Perimeter=2(l+b)

➞70=2(25+10)

➞70=70
